In Memory of Trevor Oakley Moore

Trevor was lost at sea off Key Biscayne, Florida. An accomplished waterman, his loss was felt by the entire sailing community.Moore will best be remembered by his teammates for his high spirited encouragement and motivation. Entirely committed to his teammates, his involvement in the sailing world will be dearly remembered and missed.

Trevor received the Francis L. "Babe" Kraus Memorial Award as Hobart's most outstanding athlete in 2007. He was a two-time ICSA National Champion, three-time All-American, and the 2007 College Sailor of the Year. Trevor also earned a spot on the 2012 U.S. Olympic team.

John Moore founded the Trevor Moore Foundation in memory of his son. This site serves as a vehicle to donate, as well as apply, to the foundation's grant - aimed to encourage young sailors to follow their dreams and pursue the sport that Trevor so fondly loved.
